Our cat Lucy recently had surgery on her left ear and we bought her the Orthopedic Cat Neck Pillow (among other great products including the Cat Cube Pillow) so that she cat rest her head without bothering her healing ear. I was a bit scared that my cat would't go in my cat tree house, since it's thicker than the original bedding and he's a big cat. However, he seemed to find it quite comfortable and he keeps going back pretty much every day :)
